New update with OneNote integration and 50% off for 24 hours!

Here at Next Matters, we love OneNote and we know you do too. Today, we’re introducing OneNote support in our latest update (2.5) for Windows 8.1. Now you can save articles to OneNote with just a single click. Let’s take a look at the screenshots below:

Btw yes, huge fan of Call of Duty series. Looking forward to Xbox One release.  :)

Customization

Below you can choose your favorite sharing/saving tool (under Settings -> Options). The other services will be shown in the redesigned overflow menu i.e. the three dots in upper right corner.

favoritetool

Other improvements

  • Post to “Facebook Page”.
  • Updated buffer integration (can also be selected as favorite tool) .
  • New keyboard shortcuts – C: Clip to OneNote, B: Buffer.
  • Change default mobilizer directly from drop down menu.
  • Improved error handling/messages and bug fixes.

In addition, to celebrate Diwali, we’ve dropped price from $2.99 to $1.49 for the next 24 hours (only on Windows store). Since, it’s universal already, so buying the Windows version gives you full access to the Windows Phone app as well.

Pls, in app browser like in the WP version

    • Vitor Canova

Seriously? I prefer switch apps. But to be fare I use a lot “load full article” using Readability. Unfortunately its broken for WPCentral images (not Nextgen fault)

      • ngreader

Right, it seems mobilizers not supported by any of mobile nation websites e.g. AndroidCentral.com, iMore.com.

        • Vitor Canova

Do you think it’s their fault or Readability fault?

          • ngreader

The Instapaper web mobilizer doesn’t work either.

          • Vitor Canova

            Yeah, I noticed that too

      • Oliver Schultes

Some web sites don’t support full article and in app browser would be one more option only

        • Vitor Canova

          Oh, now I see.

  • Richard Rees

Now if I use Control+c to copy, say, a URL, the program assumes I want to use Onenote. Is there a way around this?

    • ngreader

Bug. Will fix in next update soon. Thank you!

      • Richard Rees

Thanks a lot for your speedy response

        • ngreader

Fix is now available in store.

No image support in the feed, with the universal app (WinRT 8.1) ? Its included in the WP8.1 version of Nextgen Reader. Looking to replace the discontinued Weave RT app.

There is a separate grid view with images, tap the NGR icon in upper left corner.

      • ATL_Techguy

Ahh, excellent. Can you update grid view with a large image option in the next release. That what made (RIP) Weave really enjoyable. Page breaks in the feed, and bold article list in dark grey/white is another great idea

We’ll definitely consider these suggestions and at same time, also planning ahead for Windows 10. Thank you.
